Our client is a well established Holding Partner to a Global Resource Company based here in Limassol, that are looking to hire an Accountant for their offices here in Cyprus.
The position will require fluency in English and Russian and if you have Greek as an additional language it will be considered an advantage but not a must.
The responsibilities will include:
Standard day-to-day accounting (making double entries);
Review/preparation and archiving of primary documents;
Relevant interaction with customers, suppliers, colleagues, authorities;
Preparation of financial statements under guidance of the reporting department of the group management company;
Preparation of other (management) financial reports and supporting deliverables;
Participation in annual (and interim, if applicable) audits;
Treasury operations (posting payment instructions (salaries, reimbursements, taxes, duties, payments to 3rd parties, etc.) into e-banking systems for director’s approval);
Communication with professional advisors regarding preparation and filing of all statutory required returns and reports (corporate income tax provisional assessments and final returns (IR4), payroll-related filings, etc;
Any other task we deem necessary and appropriate for this type of specialist within the group.
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
University qualified with a degree in economics or any relevant accounting degree
A minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
Fluent English and Russian written and verbal and Greek will be considered an advantage
Basic net monthly salary: EUR 2,000
