Our client based in Nicosia is a R&D company specializing in telecommunications software and electronics and they are looking to employ a Administration & Procurement Officer

Administration & Procurement Officer

We are looking for a reliable Administration & Procurement Officer to undertake administrative and purchasing tasks. The Administration & Procurement Officer ensures smooth running of our company’s offices and contributes in driving sustainable growth. Able to successfully demonstrate an organizational workflow in an environment of competing demands with the demonstrated ability to priories work to meet deadlines.

Office administrator tasks:

Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. of the upper management
Providing secretarial support to Senior Management
Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages etc.)
Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
Assist colleagues whenever necessary
General filing of business documentation
Any other adhoc duties as required by the Company

Procurement tasks:

Issue purchase orders (POs) in the company’s software (SAP)
Find sources of supply and obtain quotes from suppliers
Contact vendors for price and lead time negotiation as well as request quotes when required by the Company
Monitor delivery progress of POs and raise flags when delays critical to project


A minimum of 12 months experience in a similar position is essential
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
Excellent organizational skills
Good communication skills
Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office & Knowledge of general business computer software (SAP or similar) and aptitude to learn new systems
Fluency in Greek & English is essential
A willingness to learn and develop
Procurement experience (benefit)
A methodical approach to work
