Our client is an international financial services company with activities within the forex market in Cyprus and globally and they are looking to hire an Assistant Financial Controller to join their established office in Limassol.
The position will be responsible for:
Assisting in Controlling of Subsidiaries financials of the group,
Preparing monthly hedging costs reports,
Preparing daily client reconciliations,
Preparing CRD4 package to Cysec and FCA,
Supervising the work of bookkeepers,
Preparing due-diligence for counter-parties (banks, liquidity providers),
Assisting in annual audits and different management accounts.
Replacing the controller in his absence.
The successfull candidate will have/be:
Qualified ACCA/ACA is a must
Experience within one of the Top4 Audit/Accounting Firms is an advantage
Must have worked within industry and outside of the Audit profession for at least 1 year
Excel experience, including formulas and formatting is a must
Fluency in English with Greek an advantage
Experience within financial companies will be considered a definite advantage
Experience with backoffice systems will also be an advantage
Accounting experience is a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The company is offering a salary of between 35 000 – 45 000 Euros gross per annum based on qualifications and experience plus excellent company benefits including quarterly bonus based on performance.
