Our client is specializing in the transportation of oil products/lubricants in Mediterranean, Black Sea and Caspian region. The company has been in successfully operating for 9 years and continues to grow and expand operations and are recruiting a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Chief Financial Officer in our Company is a strategic position with the main tasks to:
Continually optimize and implement the financial structure and flow of funds between the group of partnering businesses possessing common market interests
Be fully in charge of financial / budget planning and the Cash Flow of the Company, so as to ensure its financial stability and compliance with both its short- and long-term commercial goals
CFO supervises all financial functions and activities of the Company
Regularly analyzes current financial structure and flow of funds between the partnering businesses; comes up with the decisions / proposals aimed at improving those; implements the amendments and evaluates the effects of optimization
On a day-by-day basis analyzes the actual and planned cash flow of the Company, including both incoming and outgoing payments; evaluates the Company’s cash needs and takes necessary measures to prevent cash gaps; makes sure the company’s financial needs and interests are met continuously.
Designs and implements the Financial Planning / Budgeting procedure across the Company.
Makes up and regularly optimizes the logic and structure of plans / budgets, financial statements and other data required by the Company’s management for internal (managerial) use; takes part in making managerial decisions based on these data.
Controls the overall compliance with the budget limitations and requirements
Makes sure all due financial data / documents are produced by reporting departments, or received from the corresponding counterparties in a timely manner.
Collects and structures primary data, prepares and submits authorized financial statements both for internal (managerial) use and according to the requirements of the government and other external agencies
Ensures positive business relations with the partnering banks
Accomplishes finance human resource strategies by determining accountabilities; communicating and enforcing values, policies, and procedures; implementing recruitment, selection, orientation, training, coaching, counseling, disciplinary, and communication programs; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation strategies.
High level of education in Financing/Accounting/Economics relevant to the position
Profound and solid professional experience, including financial management of a group of partnering businesses
Ability to monitor, understand and balance the incoming and outgoing cash flow of the Company
Creative approach and proactivity in achieving the stated short- and long-term financial goals of the Company
Strong managerial skills, and ability to build / maintain relations with both peers and subordinates and work in a team
Analytical skills and common sense
Fluent English; Russian would be an advantage
