Overall Purpose of Role: The Chief Sales Officer is a high-level executive in the business.He / She is in charge of the management of the entire sales department, overseeing all sales-related activities. The Chief Sales Officer’s daily activities are vast and include overseeing the day-to-day creation of sales strategies. He studies sales numbers to assess how successful sales strategies are in the business.The Chief Sales Officer answers directly to the CEO. He / She provides leadership, direction, and resources to the sales department and is accountable for the overall sales department performance, the achievement of sales department goals and targets, and the alignment of the business’s strategy.The Chief Sales Officer is also charged with ensuring sustainable revenue growth by constantly maximizing market penetration
Main Activities and Responsibilities: Involved in researching different business areas and creating strategic plans to target them to attract new business Responsible for identifying suitable prospects/clients across the Globe Subsequently through the nurturing of the relationship, ensure an on-going flow of project engagements Recruit and setup all aspects of a professional team of Account Managers that will execute the following: Make initial contact to existing leads or prospect clients. Arrange for presentations with potential high value clients Managing the relationship until it matures to an initial project engagement. Maintain and build strong relationships with existing clients to ensure the higher level of service. Requirements: Native speaker or excellent command of English Any other languages will be considered as an advantage Excellent sales skills, preferably with prior training in Sales Minimum 2-5 years sales experience Excellent telephone communication skills and good follow-up and organizational skills Ability to overcome and handle sales objections Ability to speak with comfort to senior executives and establish good rapport Any prior experience in sales of consulting services is a great advantage. Any prior experience in innovation management is also a great advantage.
