Our client is an innovative and ground breaking technology company, developing software for the Foreign Exchange (FX) Market and they are looking to employ a Junior Product Manager.

Job Details:
The Junior Product Manager will be responsible for project management, project specifications, and project delivery tasks in the company. Additionally, the Junior Product Manager will be required to refine business processes and procedures, ensure resources are being used efficiently, gather requirements, and create detailed or high level specifications for diverse software or business projects and activities.
The main objective of the Junior Product Manager will be to ensure the teams are working efficiently, time and resource usage is being tracked, that projects are being delivered, and proactively managing automation projects for manual and time-consuming tasks.
Important duties of the role also include generating policies, procedures, enforcing business and workflow rules (e.g. company-wide Kanban initiative), and ensuring rules are adhered to within all departments. The manager will need to organize meetings, perform analysis of work logs, review resources assigned to tasks, follow up on work delegated to resources, plan and estimate cost and time to delivery, etc.

Job Responsibilities:
Project management of processes, software solutions, procedures, designing and refining in-house ERP modules (custom, in house) and the company website and client intranet site.
Write high level and low level detailed requirements and specifications from stakeholders.
Convey requirements using UML, diagrams, and wireframes not just text and tables.
Manage a variety of different projects simultaneously.
Create documentation for projects and for support teams.
Creating policies, procedures and documentation.
Time management skills.
Secondary tasks and responsibilities
GUI design and specification with clients, Product Managers, other stakeholders, and developers.
Perform functional tests on products, enhancements, and releases to ensure it works as expected
Reporting and feedback to senior management, the CCO, and the CEO.
Researching opportunities for products, features, and solutions for different departments and projects.

Experience and abilities:
A technical background is a mandatory with experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of UML and writing software requirements documents.
Knowledge of ITIL, Prince 2, or APM beneficial.
Experience in managing developers and working closely with business stakeholders.
Good understanding of financial markets.
Ability to relate to technical and non-technical projects and stakeholders.
Ability to quickly resolve blockers whether resource, or procurement.
Ability to read contracts and understand contract law.
Ability to understand rules and operating regulations for incorporation, employment, and business establishment for new entities.
Good understanding of software licenses and licensing agreements beneficial.
Investigate trends and features, product lines, competitor analysis, documentation, familiarity with agile, scrum, JIRA, confluence is essential.

Qualifications:
Graduate or post-graduate preferred.
Project Management qualification useful (e.g. Prince 2, APM, etc.).
Fluent spoken and written command of English is mandatory.
