Our client, is a major distributor company that markets and manufactures beverages of internationally known brands.
Monitoring and supervision of the conduct of companies that provide our client with various services, including: distribution, warehousing, technical and other services. The goal is to provide customers with their orders in quantity and quality, at the time and in the budget specified.
Responsibility for inventory, setting the inventory policy, inventory planning, replenishment and daily tracking of inventory
Responsibility for third party warehouses
Responsibility for the quality and cost of distribution of companies that provide our client with service according to the SLA determined
Preparing work procedures and work routines in terms of logistics, service and procurement
Professional assistance with regard to the procurement and logistics worlds
Close monitoring of the logistics budget and striving for savings
The position is mostly carried out at the sites of the companies providing the services in the field.
Manage the logistics, warehouse, inventory and relevant operations.
Coordinate the full cycle.
Being responsible for any problems or complaints might arise.
Supervise, train and recruit employees when necessary.
Be responsible for following the legal requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers.
Reporting to the Management based on specific metrics, reports etc.
Implement health and safety procedures.
Control and supervision of companies that provide our client with services, for the examination of the following:
— The visibility of trucks
— Daily monitoring of compliance with budget goals and approval of purchase orders in the SAP system
Generating weekly reports:
— Compiling efficacy, distribution efficacy, inventory
Control of the level of service provided by employees of the companies that provide services through:
— Daily monitoring via phone to 10 – 15 different customers to inspect the service they received
— Monthly monitoring in 15 points of sale and orderly reporting on the visit and conclusions drawn from it
Storage according to the company’s procedures (do not store outdoors)
Monthly inventory counts, including sample inspections and control of FIFO and FEFO management
Recycling and destruction – do not accumulate goods for destruction
Preparation of the site for audits of outside entities: municipalities, fire-fighting, police
Procurement: finding local suppliers and signing work agreements with them.
— Formulating work processes of the internal interfaces with the procurement (ordering of material and services)
— Having daily contact with the procurement and planning in Israel and the formulation of work processes with them
— Handling the entire import chain
Degree (BA) – preferably in Economics and Logistics/Industrial Management/Supply Chain
Four years (4) of experience, at least, in logistics site management.
Familiarity with procurement and import processes
Experience in conducting negotiation processes.
Broad understanding of the market and the industry (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods).
Great proven experience similar roles and/or industries.
Excellent communication skills in English and Greek languages.
Negotiation abilities, good and direct interpersonal skills, personal charm.
Organization and management skills, planning abilities in the medium and long term, organized, authoritative, service oriented.
Flexible individual, willing to work long strenuous hours under pressure and able to cope with unclear and changing situations.
