Our client based in Limassol is a global flexitank solutions and financial services provider that automates bulk cargo trading operations. They are currently recruiting further staff for their Operations Department who will be reporting directly to the Managing Director.
Tasks / responsibilities:
Organize the loadings and deliveries of non-hazardous liquids and dry cargoes to customers. This includes liaising with a variety of parties such as local transportation companies: transporters, warehouses, loading terminals, independent inspectors, shipping lines and make sure all the instructions have been sent to relevant parties.
Coordinate processes and follow-up on issuance of shipping documents, such as bills of lading, invoices, customs documents, CMRs & other transport documents required and products deliveries in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
Lead the establishment of a new set-up for flexitank operations, including custom clearance, storage & warehousing, container discharge operations.
Direct negotiations with third parties involved in the forwarding operations i.e. quotation requests.
Authorized to deal with:
Transport Nomination orders
Customs clearance orders
Orders for inspection services
SAP: logistics license
Minimum 2 years working experience in a similar position within shipping/forwarding industry
Knowledge of SAP Business One or similar software will be an advantage
Fluency in English – any other languages (French, German, Spanish) would be an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Very detailed oriented/ Organized/Fast learner and creative
Excellent communication skills
Ability to take Initiative
Confidential and flexible nature with sense of humor
Ability to work under pressure
Based on previous experience up to 2000 Euros gross monthly plus company benefits
